How do I drop or withdraw from a class?

There are two ways to drop a class during the drop period. You will be required to supply the complete course title and course number. Simply complete one of the steps listed below:

  1. Online: Log in to WebAdvisor and drop the class.  Review important drop deadlines by clicking on View Your Class Schedule
  2. In person at either the Aptos or Watsonville locations. We are here to assist you at a lobby computer to drop using WebAdvisor.

Dropping a Class with a Grade of "W"

The option of dropping a class online is available after the drop period is over. You will receive a grade of "W."  Note that there is no refund of monies in this case.

  1. Log in to your WebAdvisor account, under Registration select Register/Drop Previously Selected Sections. Scroll down to the Current Registration section and complete the form. Click the submit button once at the end of your session. Review important drop deadlines by clicking on View Your Class Schedule in your WebAdvisor account.
