How do I apply as a transfer student?

Transferring into Cabrillo College

If you have college credits you think will be transferable to Cabrillo College, make an appointment with a counselor. S/he will be able to look at all your credits to see what will transfer. Come prepared with an official transcript. An unofficial transcript will be used for the initial assessment, but an official transcript will be required for formal course/credit acceptance.

General Education requirements for AA & AS degrees are available by pressing here.

If you need to clear a prerequisite to take a class, check out the instructions at this link:

Transferring from Cabrillo College to a four (4) year institution

In addition to working with a counselor, the Transfer Center can help you prepare to transfer to a four-year college or university. Assistance include helping you fill out college applications, write admission essays, and complete Transfer Agreement Guarantees ( TAGs ). Field trips to visit colleges and other workshops will help you successfully transfer.
