Unit Overload           

An average full-time class load is 12 units per semester. The maximum number of allowable units per semester without a counselor's approval is 19.5 units. If you intend to enroll in more than 18 units in a semester, you must obtain a counselor's approval.

For summer session requirements, you will need to meet with a counselor.
